Printed Capacity Folders Cutter Guide

Using Bespoke Cutters

If you chose one of the bespoke cutter folder options you will need to supply your own cutter guide. The price includes manufacture of a new cutter and the use of one glue flap. Please see below for adding an additional glue flap. When designing a bespoke folder you can work within the maximum sizes specified. You can use no capacity or a capacity on the spine and flap, but not to exceed 10mm in the spine.

Download Example Artwork

Spot UV is a high gloss varnish that can cover any area of your artwork, you will need to provide a Spot UV guide for this. It is essential that this is provided correctly. You must provide two PDFs of your artwork; one of your main print and one showing what areas you would like the spot UV to cover (Spot UV guide). The areas you would like to spot UV must be artworked in 100% black and must be exactly the same size and in the same position as your main image, so it fits directly over the top of it. Make sure that bleed, reg marks and white border area are identical on both PDFs. Please download our example artwork illustrating correct UV artwork.

IMPORTANT: Spot UV is unavailable for use with gloss stock or gloss lamination. Since Spot UV is a high gloss spot varnish it contrasts far more when used with a matt lamination. Whilst it can be used without matt lamination, we recommend combining them.
