We've mentioned our Printed Magnets for Business range before and have tried to explain why we think this is a marketing opportunity you can't choose to ignore in a recession. Leading on from those previous articles, we'll now explain, following a little research of our own, why we think Company Magnets aren't just a flash in the pan.
We recently outsourced a survey to see what marketing material a 'typical' business owner, manager or general consumer remembers and keeps. It became apparant that cheap flyers and direct marketing offering little by way of personal instroduction just doesn't work. What we were told though was, like the rest of us, Business owners in particular like to be sent things that are useful and that they can keep.
That leads us to our magnets again. Unlike a cheap flyer which is screwed up in microseconds and aimed at the nearest bin, a magnet can hold notes to fridge doors, be used to show messages, can decorate a otherwise bland area and so on.
Of course, if you have a service which offers regular offerings to consumers and clients (i.e. Pizza Delivery, Video Rental, Car Hire etc), then your magnet might just remain in the forefront of your target audiences eyes and imaginations for several months or even years to come...B2B or B2C, it seems magnets have the same possible marketing advantages for your business.
