One of the most important things to consider with a new business is to think about the branding of the company (namely the Logo, how the website will look and function, and the style, quality and design of printed leaflets, printed flyers and postcards and printed business cards in particular).
There are many different and imaginative ways that stationery can be used to promote businesses and increasingly companies are using Flyers or Postcards, to get their business 'out there'.
If you are starting a new business then have some professional flyers or postcards printed. You can then ‘drop' these through the letterboxes of your target audience, and they are so cheap to produce. If you give yourself a target of delivering so many a day, it will (a) not cost you anything and (b) be very good for your health. Whilst you may not get the business straight away, the more your branding is seen the more business you will get in time. Don't be surprised if it takes 6 months for leaflets you've shoved through letter boxes to start resulting in calls to your office.
You may also want to hand out the postcards or flyers somewhere where there is a large group of people (maybe a shopping centre, or outside a nightclub?) Whilst some people may not want to take them or some may throw them straight away, there will always be people who do take them and put them in their bags, looking at it when they get home and possibly having a need for the service your business offers. Again the more your branding is seen, the more likely you are to get new business at some point in the future.
Keep some flyers or postcards with you at all times, and hand them out to people you speak to, even people who know you personally may need reminding of the business you do, and they may well even act as your sales force by handing them out to their own contacts (think of social networking in the 'real' world).
If your business is already fairly well established and you don't feel there is a need to mail drop to promote your business, there is still a really good use for having flyers or postcards printed.
When you send out invoices or letters to clients, insert a flyer or postcard in the envelope instead of a compliments slip. Because the flyer or postcard are of a much better quality than a compliment slip, the people you are sending them to are more likely to keep them. They may put them on a notice board or in a file, so your company name and contact details are always close to hand. Another way of advertising without it costing you anymore than the original cost of having them printed in the first place.
The flyers and postcards come in a range of six different sizes. You can choose 350g card, laminated in either gloss or silk. You can have the design printed on just one side or both and with the minimum order being 100 up to 100,000, it doesn't matter what the size of your business is, you will always have enough flyers or postcards.
It is also worth noting that at the moment if you are ordering more than one flyer or postcard design with Printed Easy, there is a 15% discount. Another good reason to use flyers or postcards to market your business
